What is this saving a comment thing all about? And why does it show up in my notifications?

the save comment button replaced the thumbs up or like button in Kinja. Here you can like someone’s comment (by starring it) , but you can only “save” a post. So notifications that someone saved your post = liked your post.

It means someone clicked the star button. Why they renamed it from “liked” to “saved”, no one knows.
